DS and I are leaving tomorrow morning to go visit some family in Boston. We've flown together (last time was a year ago) before and it didn't go so well. He ended up getting really fidgety, kicking the seat in front of us - of course the most angry, kid-loathing woman was sitting there, and he did lots of yelling and crying. Any suggestion for keeping him entertained? I did buy a few new toys that we will open on the plane and I brought a portable DVD player for a last resort. Any other ideas??

Stickers, a doodle pad with the pen attached, special snacks, books, magnetic play sets like Thomas- with a book and trains that stick to the book, colorforms, Benadryl or other sleep inducing medicine :lol: Have a great trip, and remember, you will never see these people again, and no matter if it goes bad, it will end!!
