Sometimes we all get caught up in worrying about money, getting the house cleaned, getting to appointments on time, grocery shopping etc..... Take a moment for yourself as a mama to sip some tea, notice the world around us in a positive light, the dew on the morning grass, flowers that bloomed, full moons, monarchs fluttering about..... this revives me and renews my spirit ~ ;)

Yes! I went to the farmer's market this morning and sat behind the counter at a favorite stall and just chatted with the Farmer for an hour. It was so relaxing...watching all the people walk by and smiling at everyone when I caught their eyes. Ahhh...made me feel better about people for today! :hbeat:

Oh so true!! Thanks for the reminder!!
I have been trying to *breath* in my children, as if they are precious flowers, each and every day. I don't think I have been nearly as alive or "in every moment" as I thought I was. I am truly getting there now and LOVING it!!

Thank you for the reminder. I've had this message come to me the past few days. I think God is trying to get me to learn to consciously slow down. Luckily, I do notice the small things around me. But, I don't take that moment to really STOP and appreciate them.

Taking life too seriously is not the solution to the problems that face us everyday, in fact it sometimes add more due to the stress that comes along with it. We need to give ourselves a break every now and then, even just for a breather. Take time to watch the sunset or smell the frsh air and just maybe that will brighten up an otherwise hectic and ordinary day. Make it a point to always put a smile on your face, not only does it make you feel younger it is also quite contagious.

I agree the solution to problems isn't to worry about them, never said it was. I was just reminded everyone to stop and enjoy the small things that end up meaning a lot. Sometimes life forces us to focus our attention on things we don't always want to do.
