Confessions of a Pagan Nun (http://www.powells.com/biblio/1-1570629137-2) is an engaging book that straddles both sides of the primary character Gwynneve's pagan upbringing and current role as a nun transcribing sacred works.
I enjoy books that neither vilify nor exhalt the opposing sides of the Divine and the ways in which we reach it. While there are definite themes of redemption, being saved etc and contempt by both sides - overall the author holds a fairly even hand with the differences. Gwynneve is torn between the two herself, though she acknowledges the good and bad in both and struggles between what is "right" from both perspectives.
Would love to hear your thoughts if you've read it, or when you do! :)
