Haven't gotten much done over the last couple of days. My mother had a heart attack late Monday and was in the hospital until yesterday so I've been distracted. (It was a small one, she's ok, and there was no damage to the heart muscle, thank goodness.)

Since my serger is still non-functional I have begun investigating the odd boxes on top of my shelves and am forcing myself to do something with whatever is inside. L's rag quilt was the contents of box #1. Box #2 was a half done blanket made from felted sweaters. I finished piecing it and bound it. It matches my couch rather nicely (I've gotten the couch since I started the project so it wasn't planned lol.) The colors are a bit washed out since I pushed the contrast so you could see the spirals. It hangs down the back of the couch to the floor, but I didn't want to take it off and try to find enough clean floor to spread it out lol.

I gave a big bunch of wool sweaters to a friend to make into soakers. Had I known they would make a beautiful quilt, they would probably still be sitting in my stash! :)
