I am making a sweater out of noro kureyon and it's possible I'm going to run out of yarn. Not really sure yet but if I have enough it's going to be pretty darn close! I checked the lss and of course they are out of the yarn so I'm trying to figure out my options......I have found the same yarn online but of course it probably won't be the same dye lot. Any thoughts or experience on how much of a variance there will be? I'm considering ordering another skein to see if it will match ok.....

Honestly, I've never been able to see a difference in dye lots, but apparently a lot of people can. There was a little blurb on this in the latest issue of Crochet World & the suggestion was to, if at all possible, have the new dye lot separated from the old in some way, which of course is fairly easy to do if you have a two or more colored pattern. Failing that, I'd try to isolate the new dye lot on a separate element like the sleeves, or at the least make very sure you start a new row/round with it, so you can better make believe that you meant to do that all along. ;)

thanks for your input. :) I ended up ordering a single skein of my colorway and should have it next week I think. I'm hoping it will work to add it in, if not then I'll be back here posting for suggestions on what I can do with a single skein of noro.....LOL
