I need something, ideally, for both Marissa (8), and Phoebe (2). I kind of have a pattern for a jacket for Marissa, but it's really more just to go over a dress than to be an actual jacket, jk?

I was looking at this Birch Street pattern (http://www.sewbaby.com/big/patterns6_/patterns_2.html), has anyone used it? Any other pattern rec's for a simple jacket? TIA! :)

I haven't made a jacket in YEARS, and the one I did make was reversible and darn cute (if I do say so :-O LOL), but I have NO CLUE what pattern...so basically, I have nothing to offer ROFL...but, a great big, "YOU CAN DO IT" <snort>
