I sold a pair of boots on e-bay almost a month ago, I got a reply from the buyer that she was unhappy with them, I said mail them back and I will refund you, a week later I get another note that she was on vacation but will send them, I said fine send them I will refund. Still no boots or contact. I sent a message asking if she was returing them, still haven't gotten a response.
I would just let it go and not contact her again but what if next month she sends them for a refund, I don't mind refunding up to a month since she was on vacation but after that I have no idea what to do, do I refund no matter when she sends them? Do I contact her with a date I am to have the boots then refund?

thanks for any advice, this is the first time someone wanted to send it back.

Maybe shes changed her mind. I wouldnt email her about returning them, thats her responseability.
I wouldnt refund after a month, the shops wont either.

Id either tell her, as she hasnt sent them back within a reasonable time (ie 1 month since the auction) you assume she has changed her mind.
Also the boots could easily have been damaged while in her care.
Or you could email her and give her a time limit of say 10 days to return them.

Personally Id do nothing until she contacts you and I feel its been too long to expect you to refund, youve already reminded her.
