I am just learning about the vimala apprroach and want to know for those with experience, how did you introduce the alphabet to your preschooler if they've already started with the traditional alphabet. she is not yet fluent (does not know all the letters yet and haven't even gotten to the lower cases) still just practicing...?? thanks!:waving:

Hi,
I posted a list of all the letters on our fridge and just started using them myself when I wrote -- I explained to them briefly about Vimala in a way they understood -- I explained that I was practicing myself and then just started modeling .. it was really low key -- basically however you are teaching letters, just use the vimala ones instead ...

I introduced Sage to her signature letters first because that is where her interest was. It worked well for us, she has a pretty nice signature now.
I also just use the vimala myself. She still prefers to do most of her writing in block capital, but she has just started using a few of the lowercase letters and look are decidedly more vimala than block style!!
