I think it starts something like:

The lazy brown fox....

I thought that I might use this a few times in the year to check on handwriting. I decided not to get an additional manuscript book and to just focus on DSs print through letter writing and his daily work. Then we will start to pick up sursive later in the year, though I think he is ready for it now! (Cursive is a dying art and all I am really concerned with is that he can sign his name and read cursive too. I am thinking of throwing in slam dunk typing for fun and soem new skills)

There is a really awesome book (for adults) that uses that sentence as it's core. The book is called Ella Minnow Pea. It is hilarious and sombering at the same time.
