I haven't been camping in forever! I camped a ton when I was a kid and I took DH camping once about 5 years ago but that's it! But I'm sure I could scrounge up enough stuff to go if we can make it work.

I'm in CT and I have two kiddos--a 4 year old dd, and 10 month old. Might not be as fun with my kids at their current ages :o But it looks like your son might be around my nephews age and I'd bet I could get him to tag along.
