Ok, I had a really fun idea I want to do a high dollar value swap... this is only for people who REALLY want to do something REALLY special! I am thinking fairy houses, play mats, a set of bendies(siblings? mom dad and babe?), a whole set of food and tableware... a fairy ring, a selection of a 3-5 felt mushrooms in different sizes/shapes colors (per person), that sort of thing...throw out your ideas, ok? All along the theme of MUSHROOMS FANTASY GARDEN!

Please no plastic items or acrylic felt

Check in books for inspiration, Children of the Forest maybe, or any other fairy type book that has mushrooms.

So group 2, I'm making those ladybugs first, then the mushrooms, and now I'm wondering if we would be better served with me making more inhabitants/accessories instead of a mushroom house. I haven't decided one way or the other - what are your thoughts? If no one in the group makes "folks" will you be ok with your other stash items to "fill in" the gaps? Do you have too many houses already? Too many mushroom garden villagers? INPUT, por favor :D

I'm still where I was last week! Eeek! I had to finish my blue princess bendies and now I can focus on getting these sets finished.

I have all the pieces to my houses cut out and the prototype completed.
I have one prototype mailbox completed and one crocheted rug complete but now I think I am going to do a felt path from the door to the mailbox with round stepping "stones".

In other words, I am coming right along with this and fairly pleased with the prototype. A few minor changes to the others.

My stumps are completed. Just drying now so I can attach them to their grassy base. :)

It sounds like everyone is just cooking along! I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone's goodies! :smirk:

I am going with inhabitants. I am making 2 adult mushroom people and 1-2 kiddos for everyone. I have everything for the adults, but am having a hard time finding the little wooden doll bases for the kiddos. I will try at Michael's this weekend. I know I am cutting it close ;)

Sending this week, just putting the last finishing little touches!! Why is it that,its the little things that always seem to take the LONGEST???? lol !

Amber, I always put of the little things thinking "I will do that later" and that later never comes and then I am rushing to get them done and they always take waaaay longer than I had hoped!! :hahaha:

i've got 4 of my 5 sets complete and am just putting the finishing touches on the last one. i was hoping to get them out today but they won't be going out until monday. Really sorry about that. I am shipping today! I am still having trouble finding a box that is big enough, but I will get them out today. I will try to send priority, but if it is going to cost way high $$, I may send parcel......is that ok? We are a bit tight on funds since J had to go to the doctor and they ALWAYS prescribe non-preferred meds! ugh!

Amber! We got our garden a few days after Katie got hers :) It's adorable, thank you! Some friends were over yesterday and they started admiring it as well. One of them asked if I could make them one and I said "oh no, that's too fancy woodworking for me!" ;) We all have our talents, eh? I don't think the mushrooms were supposed to come out of their holes, but some of ours did (some after much coercion on my daughter's part lol) and the result is a cool puzzle type thing. She likes to pull them out and put them back in again ;)

I actually tried 3 different types of glue on the prototype,sorry they still came out.I really didnt want to use screws.Oh well, I guess I should have !!!
