I'm just being nosey....

what's your bedtime routine? who does it..mom or dad or both? what's the sleeping arrangement? how often do you wake? how often do you nurse/bottle feed at night? how often do you get a diaper change overnight? When do you nap during the day?

Well, Jonathan goes down around 7:00 p.m., nurses around 3:00 a.m., then at 6:00 a.m., then is up for the day around 7:00 a.m.

I'm pretty darn thrilled with that. He's 12.5 months.

jackson just turned 14 months (april 23, 05).

he usually nurses around 7, gets down out of my lap walks over to his dad and says "dada nigh nigh" and wants his dad to get up and get in the rocking chair to rock him. joe rocks him until he falls asleep and then lays him down in his bed (queen size mattress on the floor). he sleeps all night, wakes around 7:00 or 7:30 in the morning.

he also takes a nap from 10-12 and usually 2:30-4:00 or 4:30 if we're home during the day.

(ducking so noone throws anything at me..i know...i am lucky!! i'm super grateful!!!)

Connor goes to sleep around 8, usually nursing or rocking in my arms. We had to recently stop rocking him to sleep in the living room, with all the noise, it was taking forever for him to go to sleep.

He'll wake anywhere between 12 and 3, at which point I sleep with him for the rest of the night. He usually wakes at least once or twice more (usually when he loses my nipple!) and is up for the day by 6:30.

He naps for 30 minutes at around 10 am, and about 2 1/2 hours in the afternoon.

I couldn't do it last night. Too tired and I'm sick on top of it! DH is going for it right now....we'll see!

Bg lays down with sully in our bed around 9:30-10 pm , he turns the light out and sully rolls around on the bed adn babbles until he falls asleep (usually 12-15 minutes) Sully sleeps until 7:30 or 8 am , almost no waking at night, ad if there is is usually around 1 am to nurse and everyone stays in bed... on the weekends it is a little bit different because Sully will nurse to sleep.

isaac is 13.5 months (may 12, 05)

he nurses at 7pm, i take him over to pick out a book (he never gets the same one twice...lol), give him to daddy, and then i go hide in the bedroom. dh reads him the book and rocks him to sleep, then puts him in his crib in his room. he often wakes between 5:30-6:30, dh gets him, and he nurses/sleeps in our bed until we wake up around 7:30ish. sometimes he doesn't wake up for the first time until 7:30-8, and i just get up.

he almost always naps for an hour around 9:30-10. afternoon naps are different all the time. it's just too long to explain his napping. i'm just grateful for how he sleeps at night because he's terribly unpredictable at sleeping during the day.

no diaper changes at night. and i usually don't nap, although if i stay up too late, i'll try to get ds to take an afternoon nap with me.

not a spring babe but;)......our "schedule" has been soooo off since our vacation (at the end of may) & we've just gotten back from visiting my parents for 8 days.

she's not nursing anymore, but she still wakes at night. we start her out in her crib (7:30-8:30) and i sleep in a bed in her room. when she wakes (anywhere from 11 to 2) i put her in bed with me & we sleep til 7 or 8 or whenever cole comes in. sometimes i can get cole to fall back to sleep with us & we sleep til 8 or 9. most nights he wakes & goes to get in bed with daddy (somewhere between 1 & 5).

i usually change her either when i go to bed or when she wakes & gets in my bed.

Brayden falls asleep in either my arms or bis sis' arms around 8ish. He wakes up about 2 times through out the night but usually falls back to sleep within 10-15mins. He then lately loves to wake up between 5:45 and 6:15 am. He may ...and i mean may go for one nap during the day but it can be as early as 11am or as late as 3pm. The nap usually last half an hour or so.

Piper goes down with me around 8pm, she still likes to nurse to sleep. She is usually up once or twice a night, but not really up. I can usually stick a boob in her mouth and she is back out within 2 minutes. She only naps once a day though, some days it is for 3 hours somedays it is only for 1/2hr:eyes: She is cutting all four molar teeth right now and that has really screwed up her sleeping:wah:

ugg...yes..jackson is getting 4 molars right now too.

Not spring but summer 05 (July 5, 2005)

Dinner at 8, Bath at 9, jammies at 9:30 and in bed at 10. We had been doing a bedtime story read by daddy but Finn wants into the action more and a 1 year olds idea of participating in story time is climbing on his brothers face so he can take the book from daddy tear out the pages and eat them... so we have temporarily moved to books on CD http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1882513010/qid=1152437817/sr=1-16/ref=sr_1_16/103-4654010-2787803?s=books&v=glance&n=283155

I nurse Finn while we turn off the lights make it pitch black in the room and everyone is asleep in 15 min or so.

Finn occationally wakes up around 5 am to nurse for 10 min then its back to sleep till 9 or 10. When one boy wakes the other wakes too. I think they can smell each others excitment.

The big challange is keeping Finn from seeing Miguel in our family bed when he wakes to nurse. If Finn sees or touches Miguel he gets excited and then is ready to play. Miguel feels the same way so we often hide the other brother when someone wakes in the middle of the night

we have a kng size bed with a crib side car-ed onto it and Finn sleeps in the crib Miguel sleeps between Tony and I

No diaper changes, when Finn wakes to nurse he isnt really awake just that wanna snack sleep stage

Finn naps about twice a day and it all depends on how excited his brother is If Miguel and he are playing nice Finn will take naps later if its a heated day Finn gets put down earlier. Finn nurses to nap and then sleeps anywhere from 20min to 3 hours this all depends on how quiet I am able to keep Miguel. If Miguel gets board and then can escape my sight he will sneek up to the bedroom and snuggle with baby Finn (read wake baby Finn up to play)

at least they like each other!
