This is my first time posting here...I used to write for a few different local bands a few years back. Kind of lost my inspiration since there was no band to sing my songs. I picked up a guitar two days ago from a good friend and I am teaching myself to play (everyday during naptime). I get in a good hour and a 1/2 each day, so hopefully I can write the music to my own songs very soon. Can't really go bar hoppin or do that whole *band scene* with a nursling, kwim? I am very excited. Here's the first new piece I'll be putting to my OWN music (as soon as I get good enough-only know 3 strings so far, working on learning the fourth tonight). It's sounds like I'm quite disgruntled (in the lyrics that follow) with someone else, but I am actually talking to the old me...
