We moved here first of the month and the house has a LOT of bad vibes left over from the preivious tennents.They were very violent and the doors of the house show it.I thought it was just me seeing things ot of the corner of my eye but tonight my 7yr old saw "it".They are all super freaked out as am I because I thought it was nothing.I'm wondering what do I do.I've never had to deal with this.As a christian I wonder what is up with this?Why me,why my family?So what do we as christians do to excorcise not really bad but unfamiliar spirits?as it is I used a spray around the house and told it to go away.We pray regularly as a family so I don't think it is around us much but when one of us is alone it comes out.Should I call my clergy member and ask them to come out to see whats up with this "thing"?
Any suggestion from any person accepted I'm just so wierded out by it all.I've seen things before but never like this and never in a home.

I really have no advice for you, I just hate that you haven't gotten a response. Keep praying; find someone willing to check it out and talk to them, too.

As soon as I got off here I called my dad.Go figure I've been married for 8+yrs and I stiil call mom or dad when something is more than I can handle with out DH around.So my dad asked me about the house and told me he would call someone for me.This morning they came over and helped us bless the house.I've never had to do something like it before so I knew we needed help and direction from someone who had.Dh was a little miffed that I said nothing about it to him till this morning but I just never discussed it with him before.I'll see how it goes from here on out.

My advice would be to go to your minister ONLY if they are open to this sort of encounter. If not, then I personally wouldn't "go there" with them. It may open up issues you're really not willing to deal with.

Here's my take otherwise -- please note up front that I am a Pagan, not a Christian -- however, I will try to make some suggestions which *should* help and are in line with your personal religious beliefs. :)

What I might would do is pick out a favorite prayer, maybe the Lord's Prayer. I would maybe pray over some water, asking God to fill it up with his light/love/presence. I would add some salt to that. Know that salt is a powerful substance on many levels. I would then take a candle, truly SEEING that as the Light of your Lord, and I would go room to room. I would wash every doorway with the water -- knowing in your heart as you do that your Lord is cleansing away any evil, sadness, regret, hatred, pain, hurt etc. left in this home. I would take a moment and say your favorite prayer. And then I'd go to the next room. Any left over water just poor out afterwards, and maybe leave the candle burning in your living room, put on some favorite hymns or Christian music to listen to, and try to have a really good happy family time in your home! See your family, your love and faith of your God filling the home up, and pushing everything else OUT of the house.
