I posted about her , i'm not sure if here or on the marketboard - she's the daughter of a friend, the 7 month old baby I watch three days a week. I used to work with her mama. Anyway she has had stomache issues from birth and finally they've discovered strictures. They did a colonoscopy yesterday and were not able to go more then a tiny bit of the way it was so small/blocked. While they did the procedure it was discovered that bella also has polyps. They took a biopsy and results come back tomorrow.

We're of course praying the polyps are just polyps and can be removed during the surgery that will have to take place to deal with her intestine. The prayer is that is the answer we'll get tomorrow and sweet bella can have her surgery and grow into her smile ;).

Her name is Isabella and her parents are Melissa and Martin

Heavenly Father please surround Isabella and her family with your love right now as they wait for word on the biopsy results. Lord please guide the doctors in wisdom and in their timing and lead them to what they can do to help. Please extend your mercy, your grace and your calming loving presence to them. I pray for Bellas stomache to be healed and for her to be able to eat in comfort, grow and live her life. She's a joyful baby and we are all blessed to love her.
We give you all the praise and glory and we ask these things in Jesus Name

Biopsy came back benign - no cancer . PTL . At least from the bit they biopsied from the lower intestine. There is still a slight chance that the polyps in the upper intensine could be cancerous but the indication is that if these were not, those probably are not either.
Amen.
Now we pray harder tho since this 7 month old precious girl will be going for surgery.

They meet for surgical consult tomorrow morning at 9:30am and hopefully will have a date for the surgery. The plan will be to try for an agressive colonoscopy with surgeon right there in the event they perforate the bowel. She is going to suggest no colonoscopy and just go ahead with the surgery but will of course follow the surgeons recommendations.

They hope to repair the bowl and intestines and remove the polyps. They'll biopsy the polyps in the upper intestine too and of course they'll have to test what they take out to figure out the pathology - what caused this and what they need to do and all that.

So this is good news. Will keep you posted on hopefully only more good news
