i just sat and read through that thread again. and now i remember where i got a ton of inspiration to simplify my space the very first time i ever challenged myself and did it! not to say that i'm anywhere near down to that little bit of stuff :)

That thread is what really got me going with delcuttering/simplifying. I'll admit, the first time I read it, I thought she was a little crazy! :D But that thread has been such a huge inspiration to me over the past several years. I love to re-read it. It's a bit extreme for me, but I've got most of our things much more extremely decluttered than I ever thought I would. Knowing we will be moving again in 5-6 months is extra-motivating. I think the most extreme thing I've done is the kitchen...I got rid of 17 small appliances/gadgets and kept only our everyday dishes and flatware, 4 casseroles w/lids, 6 pots/pans, stand mixer, food processor, one pitcher, one set of glass mixing bowls, 2 cookie sheets, 1 set of plastic mixing bowls with lids, 2 pic plates, 2 oblong baking dishes, one drawer full of serving/cooking utensils and my lasagne pan.
