Recently I have been digging into myself to find my true passions. Photography has always been something Id like to try to get into, or at least a Fabulous hobby.
I wondered what would be a good way to learn about it, besides just jumping right on in.
Also what camera would be a good start?(inexpensive;less then $600)

I have always love photography but never know anything more than point and shoot. I borrowed my Dad's Canon Rebel digital SLR and fell in love. My Costco has the Canon for about 600 and the Nikon (which people rave about here) for about 700.
After looking at everything from community Ed programs to 4 year universities , We settled on a local Technical Program. They have both a dipolma and a Associates degree. There is a significant amount of Photography equipment that will end up being purchased but I consider than a investment in a future job ( or hobby). Hopefully Grants and aid money will help the sting there. While my kids are still small I can shoot the occasional wedding or Family session. Later I can hopefully open a Photography business.
