I have a hard time understanding why some otherwise loving moms and dads want to worship Him. First off you need to understand that there is varying degrees of Satanism/Satanist, and then there are the "Devil Worshippers." These can all be very, very different things. From the ones who don't believe in ANY deity, Satan or otherwise, to the ones who do indeed consider him a deity, the ying to the Xian yang, and all sorts of shades in between.

That's always confused me too. :confused:

They use the name Satan because they see him as the ultimate personification of self-gratification and self-indulgence. They see the Christian god as the ultimate personification of self-sacrifice and choose the polar opposite to represent their beliefs.
