for stephanie...she is *just* 20 pounds at 18 months, not tall, either. we have a britax roundabout in the truck but need to replace the infant seat in the car. what is a good recommendation? i don't have the 200.00 for another seat. i switch off btw the truck and car all of the time so it would be easier to have 2 seats....???? sorry for the punctuation- off to bed:)

I love my Graco Safeseat- it is an infant seat, but it's good til 30lb- my 2.5yo could fit in it! Anyway, it might be a good option for you.

WE upgraded to the new cosco alpha moenga. It is rear facing convertible and goes backwards up to 30 or 35 pounds. Since Samuel only wieghs 20 pounds at 1 year (10 pounds at birth though!) we haveplenty of time before we have tot urn him.
