Swap is now closed, please send in choices!

This is a general swap, $20 value, the only difference with the "regular" one is that you cannot ask for specific name brands (I guess for diapering items it's a bit different)

You can specify condition, size, color, etc...but not brand.

ISO can be posted until next Wednesday, choices sent to me by Friday night at the latest. I'll post matches by sunday night and we can send packages by following Wednesday.

Post away!!!

Radhanuga

I'm in if I have enough stuff to make a package for someone (I hope everyone makes nice looong lists :D )

Gently used is fine. WAHM/mama made stuff is always welcome.

I'm still waiting on a couple of packages, so I might edit a bit when they arrive. I've been getting lots of stuff for the girls, so I'm hoping someone will have something for the boys this time too :)

for Kathryn and Clara

dolls diapers, doll sling
FP little people
duplo or baby legos
stuff that would work with a FP Loving Family dollhouse (doesn't have to be FP, just comparable size - she uses some barbie playfood, older littlest petshop animals, etc with it now)
peekablocks and rollarounds (think that's what they're called)
books
dressup cape with a hood to fit a size 5/6
general dressup stuff - she wants a princess dress (size 5/6)
stickers. small blank books
lip balm
hair dodads, mousse, glitterry stuff, those metal snap barrettes, head bands, etc
VHS or DVD's for kids - Wiggles, Max and Ruby, Sponge Bob, Maisy, Dora, Little Bear, pretty much anything from Noggin, Nick Jr or Playhouse disney, nickelodeon, etc
The Muppet Movie, The Great Mupper Caper, Muppets Take Manhatten - notice a trend here Kathryn has been watching the Muppet show on dvd so we'd like to get some of the movies too. We have Muppet's in Space.

they don't really need clothes, but Kathryn would love some peasant type shirts and skirts in a size 5/6. Her favorite soft flowery peasant shirt is getting too small. Maybe a twirly skirt too.

For Adam, Jeremy and Noah

Comdey cd's for my 17 yo (he loves George Carlin, Margeret Cho, Dennis Leary, etc) stuff with the parental advisory warning is okay
Steven King books and movies (we only have IT - the book and the movie) my 15 yo really want Cujo.
Other teen type movies (vhs or dvd)- they mentioned Scarey Movie, but I'm sure there are others. They've been into creepy movies lately. Blade Trinity, Salem's Lot, The Shining maybe... they also like Brittish comedy like monty python

fantasy type books for my 11 yo. either novels or books about fantasy type creatures or scifi type creature/characters
books about dragons
We have been slowing buying all the books in the Redwall series by Brian Jacques. We are still missing these titles if anyone happens to have any laying around - Outcast of Redwall, The pearls of Lustra, Marlfox, Triss and High Rhulain. The Redwall map anf family history books, dvds or videos would also be greatly appreciated

jeans waist 36 and length either 30" or 32"
cargo type shorts in waists 33" or 36"

teeshirts with fun/goofy/character/slightly rude/funny stuff on them in men's sizes M, L and XL they are kind of tall, so nothing too short

teeshirts with dragons on them - size M, L or XL

video games for the following systems - Playstation 2, Nintendo game cube, nintendo DS, gameboy advance, nintendo 64, super nintendo
they like almost anything except the regular sports games - now if it's mario golf or something like that, they'd love it :)
players guides for the games
those demo discs that come with the video game magazines
video game magazine from the last couple of years

full sized scabble game (we have a travel sized one right now)

books on learning to play the vioin

piano sheet music - pretty much any from classical to modern

blue hair dye

guys watches - something cool or funky. could use up to 3 of these

umbrellas - in boy type colors. they keep losing theirs and they won't use the print ones I have :shake: . just not the ones from the dollar store because they broke the first time we used them.

funky flip flops in size 11 (17 yo loves these)

DH

polo shirts or tee shirts size 2X
dress shirts for church 2x - short sleeve
coffee percolator (for making coffee on the stovetop)
coffee grinder
good coffee (he loves coffee, can you tell ? )
if anyone had any old episodes of Rocko's modern life he would LOVE that
Simpsons items (we have a clock and a picture up and he loves these)

Me

I could really use some spring/summer clothes
bottoms (18/20 XL) tops (20/22 2X - they need to fit 42 D )
no sleeveless please - v necks a plus. I love rich/earthy colors and black, ethnic/funky, something soft and comfy - long skirts, shirts, yoga pants, whatever just no yellow or light green please (doesn't go well with my complextion). Some v-neck tees that aren't too short would be great too. Just nothing too old ladyish (I'm getting old, but not that old :p )
nursing bras size 42D/42DD
nursing necklace
magazines - I love checking out different magazines - got any copies of Family Fun, Faith and Family, Gardening mags, home decor mags, More, Kids mags, etc ?
yummy smelling soaps
yummy smelling candles
flexi 8 hair clips
body butter
anything Mary Englebright
anything from Anne Geddes
a new phone book (something cute or pretty)
comfy shoes that would fit my really wide 8.5 feet
chocolate (would love chocolate soap too :D )
pretty nail polish so Kathryn and I can paint our nails together
lip balm
pretty lipstick in a melon or maybe rose shade
makeup samples (I love makeup, but haven't bought any in a while except mascara)
some kind of light scent/cologne/perfume. I haven't had any in a long time and i'd like some - just nothing with rose
indi type jewelry
I wouldn't mind a few surprises

Misc

religious artwork/decorative items (we're Catholic)
deep pocket fitted sheets for a double bed (doesn't have to be a set, we really need a few extra fitted sheets)
extra pillow cases (they don't have to match the sheets)
wash cloths
something with ideas for card making (maybe magazines ?)
card making supplies (something basic stuff to start out with maybe a starter kit ?)
basic beading kit/supplies with directions (again, something I would like to try)
nicer paint brushes, especially smaller ones - the kids ruined mine again :vent:
stamping idea books and stamping stuff

I'll keep adding as I think of stuff.

Caving in to the pressure........

I'm in ... I've seen several I have *some* things for but will have to dig more to get the full value.

Now for a list......... man this is going to take some effort and I will have to edit a few times.

Nicholas (age 6):

* favorite color is red
* going to bump him up to a size 6 in clothes soon (have nothing yet) shorts, pants, long or short sleeve shirts
* easy reader books
* likes cars, trucks, trains (like Thomas), construction stuff (like Bob the Bulider), fire trucks, motorcycles, farm equipment
* play money for practicing
*likes to 'help' me with sewing (has his own sewing box and real machine)

Kendall (age 4 will be 5 in Sept):

* favorite color is yellow
* likes cars, trucks, trains (like Thomas), construction stuff (like Bob the Bulider), fire trucks, farm equipment
* could use some 5T shirts (long and short) that are yellow or have yellow in them (the hand me downs from Nicholas are predominatly red)
* anything to help him practice his ABC's and numbers (flash cards get destroyed here though)
* wants to help me sew and has been whining for his own sewing box

Andrew (age 2 will be 3 in July):

* has no set favorite color, but does show a preferance to blue so far:
* loves Bob the Builder/construction stuff, trains (like Thomas), Blues Clues, animals
* size 6 or 6 1/2 toddler sandals... he refuses to take off the 5/6 Bob the Builder ones and he's a bit to big for them.
* the magic pill that will get him to use the potty

Me (real age unknown.. but acts like 10 years old): ;)

* could use some tops for summer that aren't t-shirts about a size 20
* any thing related to my username (how's that for not name dropping:hahaha: )
* chocolate flavored weightloss pill (dark, milk, white... it's all good) :D

Other 'stuff':

* Computer games for ages 3 and up (bonus if they are educational) ;)
* faaaaaaaaaabric knits or wovens boy prints and/or mama prints
* dang near any sewing thing: patterns, tracings, accessories, notions, frameable art or ads
* kids music CDs
* DVDs for kids and/or me: I like comedy, horror and some action, kids G or PG only
* little handheld pencil sharpeners (if I could find them here I'd buy about 30!!)

***********NO HEMP OR WOOL.... ALLERGIC**********

LMK if I need to add more....... and ***** my PM box is FULL******* it has been that way for several months, I'm just too darn lazy to clean it out.

has everyone finished adding to their lists ? http://purplepixelations.com/march42006/coffee.gif

remember, if you make your list as long as possible, it makes it much easier to match everyone up http://purplepixelations.com/mdsmilies/yes2.gif

I think I might join in, I will look later to see who I can send to.

For Lacy, age 3:

Adjustable waist jeans size 3 (the kind you can tighten the waist up by pullin the elastic and bottoning it, not just elastic backed, those are too big on her skinny tummy)
Tie Dye shirts, size 3 or 4

For Laina, age 1:

size 18-24 m cotton sleepers (or size 80 hanna), no fleecy hot ones, prefer the one piece zip or snap-up ones, must be super soft!
Socks size 18m w/ gripper bottom (to fit a 4ish shoe)
Tie Dye shirt in 24m
Advocacy wear (CD, baby wearing, BFing)

For Mama!

Size Medium advocacy wear (would LOVE I make Mama milk, what's your superpower, but others would be okay, too)

Books and preschooley stuff:

Water colors
fun foam
Zoo book or magazines
Usborn books (try me, we have TONS)
Vicky the Vet
Tessa the Teacher
Frank the Farmer (DD would LOVE this one)
Bugs and Slugs Luxury Lift the Flap
Stories from other countries, fairy tales, ect. that tell about other countries
Music CDs w/ music from around the world (homemade is fine) preschool level stuff
Jack Hanna Videos, DVDs, ect (or try me if you have any w/ real animals in them, not cartoons)

Try me on other fun preschooley things you think my 3 year old might like! Her interests are animals, glueing, crafty things (keep in mind she is only 3), and playing outside. She would LOVE a couple of Pumpkin seeds for the garden, too!

Diapering:

Diaper cuts of sage PUL, dark purple PUL, MM microfleece buff, or try me! I have tons of PUL, so it will probably match something :lol DIaper cuts need to be about 18x20ish

Embroidered PUL is a PLUS!!! Or try me on embroidered pockets, size Medium

tri-folding hemp inserts (like the JamTots ones) that will fit into a medium or large diaper (mama made is FINE by me! I can give you better measurments if needed)

Nylon thread! White or cream would be best, but try me!

Other stuff that I can think of:

Fruit leather
No Vax book ( a good one that tells pros and cons would be best)
Keifer grains (PLEASE!!! Anyone have any?)
Tami's Soaps (not floral scents please! We like citrus, pepperminty, vanilla, cinnamon, apple, ect. but the florals are too much for me)

Gift cards to most places on-line that sell kids or adult clothes, household goods, diapering supplies, books, homeschooling stuff, ect.
