Leila officially has a "real" word now.. she's been babbling but hasn't consistantly used things in the right context (such as dada means dada plus about a million other things) to the point where we'd consider it a real word.. but yesterday, she waved and said "hi" to *everything*.. the mailbox, the tv, the flower in the yard.. so it's officially real :)
She also stood unassisted several times yesterday. I don't think she realized she'd let go though as she had a toy in each hand.. and of course, if you're holding on to something, it doesn't matter what that is, right? :hahaha:
We started solids last monday.. sweet potatoes were absolutely hated.. she likes turkey though.. and we're only introducing 1 thing/week due to the allergies.. not sure she's passing turkey though.. she's had some bad diapers, but there's been tummy bugs going around so I'm not ready to call it pass or fail either way.
Monday she took a few steps pushing a toy.
She's way behind my other two, so I was starting to worry a little, as silly as that sounds.
