I'm not doing much today. I'm chaparone for ds2's field trip and will be out most of the day.

But after yesterday, I'm feeling guilt-free. OMG, you should see my kitchen. It glows. All the counter-tops are clutter free except for what we use daily. The cupboards are completely organized. I polished the cupboards with Murphy's oil soap. I decluttered the shelves. I decluttered and cleaned the outside of the fridge. I cleaned the floors and the shine!!! :cuc: Oh, and I was in bed *asleep* before 9pm. lol

So, today, after the field trip I'd like to fold/put away laundry. Also, declutter the game/art closet. I'd like to find a more acceptable place for the stuff in there. It's all just crammed and unorganized. What I need to do it pull it all out, empty all the rubbermaid containers and sort/declutter and organize. This would help a lot. So, maybe I won't be doing this today.

Joshie starts swim lessons today. That should be fun for him.

Hope everyone has a lovely, productive day.

It's crazy! After the work I have put in during the last two weeks or so, I can honestly say there's very little on my "to do" list beyond the day to day cleaning. I feel so free!! :D

I've tackled the storage room, wood room, laundry room, spare room, in our closets, the bathroom cupboards, the pantry, my desk and paperwork, the craft drawers...

Today I am planning on doing some beading, about 30 minutes of housework (like sweep/mop, vacuum, dust) and then I'm free to lay on the hammock or swim in the pond for the rest of the day!! Woohoo!!

My long term plan is to stay organized and figure out how to stay on top of the chores, so I have some leeway when the babe is born.

Well, I started coming down with a sinus thing yesterday and didn't do anything, so I have general clean up and dishes to do and really that's all I'm going to do today :D

I'm sick and Katie's home sick so we're just vegging and watching movies. If I get the dishes done and a load or two of laundry put away it will be a good day.

Pruning the fugly tree in my back yard.

I went through the clothes last weekend, and need to go through Alex's again.... but everyone else is done and bagged up for Goodwill. I am about to go through the garage again, but this could be a week before I get to it now with the gardening etc I have to finish.

I haven't gotten much done today because we had to run errands, but Sunday night I cleaned out our laundry room and yesterday we took 6 large garbage bags (at least) to a donation drop. I finished reorganizing the laundry room today and it finally looks good. I have one small box of things to go into boxes in storage (clothes the boys have out grown that I want to keep).

Tonight dh is helping me clean off a bookcase to move into our school area so I can organize school books and supplies. I am also hoping to get my craft area cleaned out and organized either tonight or tomorrow.

WTG, Meeshi. That must be a great feeling.

I'm almost there. I have a few more rooms to do, but nothing out of control.

Dh and I have decided to hire a gardener and a housekeeper. I just can't keep up with all of the household duties and care properly for the children and work full-time. Something's gotta give.

The gardener starts tomorrow. That will free dh and I up tackle the garage. Yeah. Then Thur/Fri I will declutter the remainder of the house. The cleaning lady will come on Friday and clean. This will free me/us up for family time on the weekend. Next week I start work/boards review.

I feel weird having someone else do my chores.:eyes:

I kept up with my daily routine.

I dusted the front of the house and polished the wood surfaces. I cleaned the glass on the pictures, the china cabinet, the dining room windows, and the back door. I vaccumed the rugs thoroughly.

I cleaned out and combined the game cabinet in the dining room and the game cupboard in the laundry room, leaving the cabinet empty and ready to leave our home. I put all of the games pieces and instructions with their respective games, and mended several boxes.

I decluttered 9 glasses of various types, a stoneware box, ceramic cats, placemats, and a tablecloth. They are bagged and ready for Goodwill.

I went through the pinecones and tossed the ones that were broken and didn't fit into the storage tin. I finally took the pinecones off the nature table (!) and brought out some shells.

I made GF muffins.

Tonight after dinner I have to run errands and after the boys go to sleep I plan to spend 15 minutes improving the school room.
