Her room is very large, I believe it's around 20x12 so it's really hard to keep clean and I feel like everything is against a wall. I don't know how to really utilize the space very well. The guinea pigs cage takes up a whole wall which sorta sucks. I need ideas for artwork and curtains. The curtains that were in there were ours and didn't go with her stuff. I need to keep the curtains on the cheap side. Her walls just seem so bare and there is a lot of wall.

If anyone has an idea on something to change or to help keep it organized I'd love to hear what you have to say.:)

I forgot to take before pics:( It was so, so bad.

I have no improvement suggestions.

I looked again, and I did think of one. lol

I think her easel should be in the kitchen, or at least out where she can go to it as she needs/wants to. I have my art supplies set up so the kids can just do what they want to without asking me for help.

I think the muse needs that. :monkeydan

I would move the shelves away from the windows, maybe on opposite walls like where the table and easel are, facing in. The plants should do ok to the side or you could get a hook and hang one of them up.

I'd put the table in front of the window. I'd move the easel to a place where it can be used. Our art table and easel is off of the kitchen where there's easy access to water and the floor can be cleaned easily.

I would try to find a few neat posters or art prints to hang up on the walls. If you can't find those, then maybe a bulliten board on one wall with pictures of friends and family. If you find a nice frame (try the thrift) you can put some of Sophie's artwork in there and hang it up.

It would look whimsical, IMO, to buy a long rainbow playsilk, like one for a playstand and use it as a window treatment.

Maybe make a mobile out of found nature objects to hang up?
