Any Alaska moms out there know of a good MD who is more into natural medicine? Or if anybody has any tips on "interviewing" a doctor or front desk person before actually wasting so much time and money on them, that would be great, too. Looking for either a family practice doctor, or a pediatrician in Alaska. I've found some who don't *require* vaccines, but when we get to the office, they totally forget why I brought my child in and start in on me about getting them vaccinated and switching to to a fluoride toothpaste. It's so frustrating. All of my children have "special needs" of one type or another, but the doctors just refuse to discuss anything but vaccines and toothpaste! If they do acknowledge any other problems, it becomes obvious that they are slaves to the pharmaceutical industry rather than genuinely interested in helping children. Well, any suggestions are appreciated.
