im moving to fremont, wi and want to know how close you all are so that we can get together. im moving from washington state and i am really nervous about what the differences might me. after all, we are pretty liberal here. so just wondering what its like there. can anyone help me out?

Well, you'll be a wee bit up Nort there, hey? (sorry, couldn't help myself) It will be more conservative than a bigger metro location. The Wolf River area is beautiful. Appleton is a nice town.
I'm down in the Milwaukee metro area...I imagine much closer to what you are used to. People are pretty nice here on the whole. Just get to know the local customs before you try to introduce anything crazy new. :hippy: It could be I'm used to it. I grew up in a small hick town, Wisconsin. I turned out ok. :hahaha:

A Madison, WI mama here and we love it. We moved to Madison almost a year ago from South Carolina and really enjoy it. It is very family friendly and the people in Madison are probably more liberal than most in Wi. I haven't been to freemont but Appleton is a great city and has tons of family related things to offer. Lacross is a beautiful town also if you are more that direction.
