He looked like he took it fine. I felt so sorry for him. Not because of who he is, but because of how they mocked and ridiculed him every chance they got. In the beginning of the show, they did the commercial thing with all the American Idols. Kevin was a pretty big part of it, like him being buried in the sand with a strongman design drawn in the sand over his body. After it was over they were all clapping and Ryan Seacrest said, "We have changed this young man's life and we could do this for you!" I just thought it was pointed and sort of mean. I think I saw Kevin sort of blanche too. His feelings have to be hurt sometimes even though he is being such a good sport.

I watched him when they played that video about his AI journey, and he looked like he might cry. He made a very nice speech though; very mature for his age IMO.
I would have liked to see Ace or Bunky go.

I felt bad for him. I'm not a fan of his, but he's cute. He took it like a man.
I was hoping Bucky got the boot, but not this week.

I was sad to see Kevin go. I was hoping Bucky would, or the girl who was in the bottom 3. I thought Kevin was much better vocally, and I'd listen to him before I'd buy an album by Bucky. Oh well, I'm sure he has a great life ahead of him, hopefully musically.

I'm not a Kevin fan, but I agree completely with this. I thought the whole Chicken Little thing was a bit mean-spirited, and I thought Ryan's attitude toward Kevin as a whole throughout the show has been very condenscending.

I think it was time for Kevin to go, but it's long past time for Bucky. I told Cassie I was glad Kevin was gone, but unfortunately that meant we had to hear Bucky sing again.

:ditto: Bucky was terrible this week, while he was singing I was thinking the same thing that Simon said! Karaoke night on AI!
I called the bottom three though, wasn't too hard this week.
I liked Kevin, he's cute in a goofy sort of way and has a decent voice...but his target audience are 12 yr old girls and with his speech impediment he doesn't sound like a pop star, or professional singer at all for that matter.
