What are your favorites?

We're recently read a jungle book & we have the Egyptian kit. I think we might look for more of the kits. They're fun!

We've been reading a lot out of the 'Visitors Guide to the Ancient World'. Several months back our homeschool group did a Greek book club day and we used the Visitors Guide to get an idea of Greek life and culture. Since then the boys were hooked on the style of it and we've ventured into the Romans.

The Encyclopedia of Planet Earth was on sale last month and we've been going through all the pictures in there at bedtime and making up stories about them :)

My kids love all of the books in the First Encyclopedia set. We use quite a few others in our homeschooling: IL Encyclopedia of World Geography, IL Book of Astronomy and Space, IL Encyclopedia of Planet Earth, Young Naturalist, Young Astronomer, Rocks and Fossils, Shapes, Opposites, Book of Castles, and Austin has read a few of the chapter books - King Arthur, Around the World in 80 Days, etc.

We like them too! In fact I am having a party right now...hint hint...lol! If you want some books feel free to order them through my party (and we will get books for next "school year"). Here is the link http://www.ubah.com/HOS54762

I am also going to order for us the 1st Encyclopedia set and several books on knights and castles. I am REALLY looking forward to the Knights Handbook and the Great Animal Search - It is AWESOME!!!! I think I will hold off on the # book Encyclopedia set for now though until DS is a little older. THoughts anyone?
