I am so excited! I got my playsilks to dye for the pirate swap (my first time with Kool-Aid dyeing).

I also ordered 2 white dresses for the girls and the tiny tie-dye kit -- should be a lot of fun come this spring!

Me too! Dyeing is so much fun. Wednesday night is my dyeing night every week, but I didn't get to dye tonight because we had no heat/hot water (again ... 5th time in a week and a half the oil guys had to come fox the furnace).

I have silks on the way too:) Should be fun. Lorna has never dyed anything before:) Well..except eggs:lol:

She'll love it! Kenna loves to dye anything I let her get her hands on, lol! When I first started dyeing wool (when I was only using Kool Aid and not acid dyes) she would dye with me every time. She had this one white shirt that she would dye, then I would wash it clean, and she'd dye it again the nexxt time, lol. Since the KA doesn't work on the shirt she always had a shirt to dye, lol, and she never did notice it was the same exact shirt!

LOVE IT!!! I have some silks coming soon too but I also have a few yards left from the 25 I ordered for my bday last year!!! I know, crazy!! LOVE DHARMA!!

My children love for me to Kool-Aid dye silks because they get them sooo quickly!! I say, "HMMM, we need some water for your play right now." Then maybe an hour or so later, we have water!! They are always amazed, like it is pure magic!!!
