Any sources you have out there? Planning on Kool-Aid dyeing some yarn. It needs to be 100% wool because I am going to felt it when done.

Thanks!

I have tons of sources, but it would depend on what type of yarn you wanted and what you were using it for. If you just want plain old wool yarn, you can get natural, undyed Fisherman's Wool, which is 100$ wool, at Joanne's. It's not the softest wool in the world, but lots of people use it and like it well enough. I just used a skein of it for my spaghetti for the wool foods swap. If you want merino wool, I would suggest blackberry ridge. It's a lot more expensive than Fisherman's wool, but it is so soft and wonderful to work with. http://www.blackberry-ridge.com/ Another wool I adore is Blue Faced Leicaster and I get my BFL from Wooly Wonders by Nada when she has it instock www.hyenacart.com/woolywondersbynada . It's also a lot more expensive but totally worth it, depending on what you are using it for. I also searched on ebay and this is the list I came up with: http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&from=R10&satitle=wool+yarn+%2B+undyed&sacat=14339%26catref%3DC6&bs=Search&fsop=1%26fsoo%3D1&coaction=compare&copagenum=1&coentrypage=search&fgtp=&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sadis=200&fpos=06708&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=

Have you ever gotten the undyed yarn from Dharma Trading? I am placing an order, and the prices look pretty comparable....

Thanks for all the links -- will have to check them out once my oldest gets to kindergarten!

A cheap and well felting plain wool yarn comes from www.Knitpicks.com
look for wool of the andes, it is $3.49 a skein of 220 yards. If you order for $30 the shipping is free. They also have merino style yarn that felts like a dream.

JA's carries one brand of 100% wool yarn, I believe it's the Lion brand. It's a thicker yarn. I know that Selena has dyed that one and it's come out just beautiful. :)
