I need to raise about $1000 over the next few months... so, I've been trying to figure out what I can offer the world to sell.

I've come up with an idea, and thought y'all might help me figure out how to make it work..

I'm thinking that I'd like to put together "nature table starter kits" .. I could either do seasonal, or general.

That being said.. what do you think I should include? I'm thinking $20-25 price range..

a tray of some sort (the inexpensive kind you get at the craft store), something for the tray bottom (small silks maybe), a figure or 2, housing for the figures, maybe some trees from twigs...

I think the most helpful thing would be a flyer with photos of examples of different ways to set them up. For example if you include a silk, show how it can be used as a background, a canopy, a playmat etc.

When I started getting bendy stuff for my dd, I noticed a huge pick up in play as soon as I got her some of the dishes and foods, table and chairs. So I would think a nice starter set would be:
silk
2 bendies
dishes, foods
table and chairs
horses

A house would be a wonderful item too, but that would put the kit cost up much higher.

Jodi,

Great idea. I think seasonal would go over very well to start with. I know when I first started my table, that was the main focus (and still really is with variations on the theme).

Great ideas so far.
Def. seasonal colored silks or cotton cloths for backdrops and ground
seasonal bendies or felted dolls
we use a lot of the decorative rocks (larger ones found in the floral section). Using some winter ice blue ones right now.

Maybe even a "kit" to make a few things on their own... like bendies or felt flowers or mushrooms or a sun, etc.

I know I would have been very interested in this when first starting out just for a jump start.!!!!

Best wishes for raising much more $ than you need.
