Ok, Mamas, the first card swap was so fun, all are mailed out, so i think its time to start working on the next round!!!!!


The theme for this swap :"Thank you" cards
Cards need to be mailed by March 20. They will all be swapped out as soon as they are received.
Here are the rules:

First off, to join, you must have no unresolved feedback here at amity's. Please have your cards mailed by the due date.

How to play:
Make 11+1 FULL cards (not cardfronts). You will receive 11 cards back, including one of your own. 11+1 means you are making 12 identical cards, 11 will come back to you and the extra one you send will be handed out at a local retirement home :)

Please use quality cardstock (not construction paper), and do your best work. The theme for this swap is "thank you" cards. I know we can all use some of those!

I am in CANADA, so if you are mailing from the USA, please include 2$ in LOOSE postage inside your envelope. Also include a self addressed envelope. Please place your cards inside a ziplock bag, and include your amity name, your real name, and your email address.

Tif, that was right :) Oftentimes card swaps are just card "fronts" which means you can't open it, its just the front of the card that you can use to attach to a full card. Saves postage and cardstock if you are swapping alot.

I would agree with this. Mandy, is it possible for us to paypal you the shipping, though. I don't have access to Canadian postage and while I could send canadian money not everyone has access to that as easily as I do. The money order was spendier than the shipping last time. I could paypal you the amount it cost for you to send me the last package if that works for you.

You can paypal me 2$, or just stick 2$ in loose USA postage in your envie. That seemed to be the average price last time. You don't need to send me Canadian postage or money :)

I wish you would play, Tina! I had only made 3 other cards EVER when I did the last swap. While I don't think I had the best cards in the group, I do think that all the cards (to include mine) were pretty and cute! Once you have an idea all you have to do is copy it a few times!

I found some neat ideas for this one on the internet. It doesn't all have to come from your head! :big hug:

Some (most) of the mamas participating in the swap are just amazing, but I am very much creatively challenged and I think this is a great way to branch out! Simple is usually a pretty safe bet for a nice card!

I set aside time tonight to whip them out and they are almost finished, all the stamping and cutting is done, I just have to assemble and glue :D They will ship tomorrow :D I'm excited I finished this swap just in time!
