You're bored, aren't you? You want to write something, even just something silly to keep your hand in, but there's no inspiration. Or if there is inspiration, the thought of tackling a big writing project is just too daunting. There's too much to do, you know you'll get a few thousand words in and then give up in despair when you lose the flow of writing to the million different alarums and distractions of mamahood.

I know it's not just me who feels this way. It can't be.

So tell me, have any of you ever played the letter game (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Letter_game)? Does anyone want to try?

I'm in!! I am just starting to work on my writing and so this would be a great exercise. I can't write often though, once or twice a week. You can IM me for my email.

My passion was to write for kids..but I've been doing some nursing writing for the family of Lippincott and Williams.... Hope to get that kids book out soon........ need some encouragement.... :)

I definately feel that way. Distracted all the time and pretty much uninspired. I try to write poetry and short musings to keep things flowing a bit. I find it much, much easier to do than trying to keep up with a sizeable project.
