I just finished reading this book, and I loved it. I really want DH to read it, but he probably won't. I am more convinced than ever that I must have a reel mower to use this summer! :)

Probably was me. I've been raving about that book ever since I read it a month ago. Isn't it great! Doesn't it totally make you think?

The one thing I am most trying to do is to incorporate the social component to work. For instance, i will have a peach canning social the weekend my peaches are most ripe. Invite friends and neighbors over and can the peaches. Divide the spoils.

I also loved this!
My husband has started a organic, no emission lawn care company - he will be using reel mowers exclusively and combined with our natural fiber business - we are very excited to be taking care of the earth in our way. We need to expand on our community out reach and will be thinking more abou that.
