As I type this, case workers in Texas are considering our family as a match for a 4yo girl! We submitted our homestudy in Dec., and yesterday our worker got a call from her worker wanting some additional information on us, and needed it asap so that he'd have it for the "red file" meeting at 9am this morning! What they do is choose three families from all the families interested in the child, and then decide on which one of the three would be the best match. We're one of the three being considered, yay! It feels good to be considered, and hopefully it will all work out the way it is meant to.....she will go to the family she is meant to be with.

Of course, I'll be anxiously awaiting the results......I won't know anything until mon/tues as my worker is off today, sigh.

Wowie! That is sure exciting. We got Naomi just before she turned four. This weekend will be long for you all, but you have the right attitude, that it will work out as it should.

I just want to know, lol! It would be better if I wasn't aware that we were being considered....we've had that happen, too, where we were one of the three and then not chosen, but we didn't know until after the fact. I am sure that it will work out however it should. :)
