Those of you who have dial up, how much do you pay, who do you have and is it reliable?
We won't do dsl because the service is terrible here and Cable internet is over $50.

Before we got our cable modem (free 'cause DH works for the cable company!), we had Surfbest: http://www.surfbest.net/ They're pretty bare bones (no browser, no bells and whistles), but they were always very reliable for us and very economical. HTH!

I have Netzero (used to have Cable Internet) and now I pay $14.95 for the 'high-speed dialup' and I've never had a problem with it. Always gotten on, etc.

Little tip: I got Netzero free for a month and then I called to cancel the free trial (of the "highspeed" service) and they offered me a year's worth of service for $9.95 a month; I said no thanks, they said, "how about 6.95 a month?" So it's worth calling to cancel. ;)
However I did have some problems with the accelerated Netzero, not loading certain images/pages, and I didn't like the browser bar and interface and such. We're using localnet.com and it's I think $13.95/month for the "express" aka accelerated dialup service. It's very reliable.
