No I don't mean a specific thing. I want out of debt now. Does anyone else go through not being able to be patient about this. My plate is so full yet I fantasize about fitting a job into my busy schedule just so we can pay off debt that much faster. I keep trying to tell myself that it took us years to get into this debt (much of it is student loans and mortgage) and that it will take time to get out of it but it drives me nuts.

Yeah, I hate debt. Feels like a ball and chain around my neck. And we don't even have that much. I absolutely hate owing anyone anything.:shake:

Yes! Exactly, all of that!

DH keeps teasing me because I come up with crazy ideas that would never fly... but it's so appealing to be out of debt. It's also a testament to how much DH and I have changed in the last year or so. Heck, I've seen DH change in the last couple of months! His perception of "need" and "want" is finally in-line with mine.

It is an interesting phenomenon when you make up your mind to be out of debt. Not just make up your mind, but you become... digusted(?) but debt and the decisions that put you there. It's motivating. Good luck Bobbi Jo! (I owe you pics... off to look for them!)

Yes, I feel like that! And the thing is, our debt isn't even that big so it should be even easier for me to get out of! It drives me nuts that we still have it.
