I got my 30 skeins of floss and it was already picked over at 10am. I also got Maya a pattern to make a kitty bag and house, some stuffing for her unicorn I'm making and Valentine's cards (Princess of course).
I frequent their dumpster because they have good shipping boxes and they had thrown out some huge heart doilies for cake making because the packaging had been opened. Sick but true that I dumspter dive. Actually, I'm pretty proud of my dumpster finds so long as I keep DH from finding out.

I may ormay not buy floss.. I have a basket full of tangled floss.... but can you really have too much floss?

I'm going to be heading there hopefully tomorrow. I have a ton of fabric to get and I really want to use the 50% coupon for it.

There was a lady at the cutting counter today that had the entire thing stacked with fabric. She bought a few HUNDRED yards. I should have asked what it was for.

OOOH, dumpster diving is AWESOME but illegal here in TN. We have manned fenced in areas. I have to go inside a store to ask for boxes.

When I lived in NC, people would put the good stuff just outside the dumpster so you wouldn't have to sort through the trash. *sigh* the good ole days. I found clothes, artwork, all kinds of stuff!! That was where I would "donate" any of our unneeded items as well LOL!!

Just got back! I got 25 skeins of floss and 2yd of chenille, pink and oatmeal (both colors that I actually don't already have!) I figured, for 4.96/yd, I couldn't go wrong with the chenille. Then I picked up a WHOLE bolt of the interfacing, 48yds for $12, I think that's quite a steal and since I use it for pattern tracing, I go through it pretty quickly. And my score of the day was a small can of acrylic clear coat spray paint. It was in the clearance section for $2, so with the extra discount it was only $1. I had a big can that I was going to have to use my coupon on, and I put that puppy back for the smaller one. :smirk: I gotta stop spending $, though, I'm starting to feel guilty. :hahaha:

with all of my other errands didn't make it today but will fo sure make it tomorrow. Sale tomorrow too, right? anywho, their dumpster they lock, cuz I asked Wanda the manager, one time what they did with all of their patterns when new ones came in and she said they throw them in the dumpster. Told her I was going to go check, she said it would be hard to get into since Pizza Hut moved in next to them, they had to start locking their dumpster or it would overfill with their trash. hmmm, Florida doesn't lock theirs tho *LOL*
