Loved it, loved the documentary too. The director who did this also did Thirteen, and I think she *gets* teenagers, spot on. And I have such a soft spot for tween and teen boys, not yet men, but trying to be (cause I got a zillion of 'em here, lol!)

Also am fascinated by the Cali attitude and style- we just don't seem to have that, here in the midwest. It's kinda how the French must feel about the American style- that we just don't really have it, kwim? LOL!

I thought the kids who acted in that movie really pulled off the characters well.

We enjoyed it, but I must say we own the documentary and watch that all the time. Makes us miss Cali though....

I liked it, and was amazed at Heath Ledger's acting...watching A Kights Tale and 10 Things I Hate About You didn't exactly give me a good idea of the scope of his abilities, rofl!

I thought it looked well done, and the acting was good. I enjoyed it, though I would have enjoyed it more without the surfie/skatie dh sitting next to me grumbling about all the historical inaccuracies  lol.
