For bendies, not pipes, that is ;)

Here is the site: http://www.elfumador.com/bjlongpipecleaners.html#pipeaccessories

There are no minimums to order but you can see the price breakdowns and bulk prices.

If we can keep it to just the standards (6 ") and the 12", that would be great. If someone has a need for any of the other ones, please let us know.

They are all cotton.

If any of you reading this ordered before (from Selena), you may want to give some feedback about the product if anyone is iffy about purchasing.

I will wait until January 12 to close this. Prices do not include shipping to me and then shipping to you. I will try to get an estimate before we order in case someone needs to back out before I order them.

Thanks!!!

I guess it really depends on how many you plan to make. But for the 3 1/2"-4" sizes (according to the Wee Felt Book by Salley Mavor), you will need 2 12" long stems for each body. For 3", she calls for 1 10" adn 1 11", the 2 1/2 inch (like Danielle shows how to make, maybe on a craft-a-long thread, here at Amity) calls for 1 12" and the tiny ones need only 1 7".
Hope that helps some. Then you will need different sizes of unvarnished beads for heads and the embroidery floss in your choice of colors and then felt for clothes and silk flowers for fairy skirts and wings (although they do not have to be silk)!!

Hope this helps some,

I need some too. Have to check how many...
Our local tobacco shops carry only 6" lenght so I am really iso 12" ones. It is such a pita to try and connect the short ones.

anyone still need any? I put in the OP that I would close the order on 1/12 but that was a mistake because I only posted that on 1/10....

So, if anyone needs any, let me know and I will keep the order open until next Friday (27th?, I think)

Just PM me with your wants. don't pay yet and I can't take CC's. All other methods accepted ( funded pp, check and mo).

I could do with a pack of 12" (assuming pack is 36 x 5), could I get a pack of jumbo ones too?

Yeah, and for some reason I thought you had told me what you wanted. I looked at your post and you said you needed to check. So I will wait for you as well.

I have orders from:

I would like 150-200 12". Whatever number is easiest to order in their counts. Just let me know where to paypal.

Thanks, I almost ordered the $20 worth myself but then realized that was like 800 pipecleaners!

You can order any that you would like to have. They are all cotton. I did not see any minimums for an order.
I am trying to finish it up tonight and have totals by tomorrow. I know you said you need to wait til later in the week to pay and that is more than fine, or we can work out a shipping trade since you host so many swaps!! (Oh, I guess that depends on how many you order, silly me..... if you order like $20 in pipe cleaners, we can work something out like half/half.) Just throwing out some ideas that others may need to use also.

okay, I'm tired, confused and all that good stuff. If I was to order 100 of the 12", can someone tell me what it would cost me? :smooch:

Maegansmama
02-01-2006, 07:17 PM
ok, confusion....
are these the 6" ones?
Standard 60/pk., 5 packs (60/pk) $4.75 = 180
**oops I am thinking 300 =$4.75, not 180, right?

and these are the 12" ones?
Churchwarden 12in. white-36pk, 5 packs (36/pk) $6.00 = 180

is this the main thing to order? I am a newbie bendie maker but watch out, lol, I'm sure I can wrap pipe cleaners in bulk while watching C.S.I. for all these swaps I have coming up!!!
I just want to make sure I have the right item before I place my order :D

Me! Me! I have never made a bendie in my life, but my Wee Felt Folk book is on its way (and I just got my felting starter kit yesterday). I guess I would like about 3 packs of the 12" (36x3) and 3 packs of the 10" (3x36).

Thanks!
Lori

They come 36 to a pack. If you order three packages of 36, that would be 108 and cost approx. 3.50 plus shipping to me and then shipping to you. Shipping shouldn't be very much and I will add in the shipping to me in your initial cost (when I find out total order, figure who ordered what, etc.) Then after I get them and ready to mail, I will ask for shipping to you. There may be an easier way, but I don't know it!!

;pot: :hahaha: :hippy: ;)  :flowerkit :waving: :o :couple: --These are from my 7yo who insists on me using them all the time!!!

:help: Wait, do I need 6" and 12"? I thought I needed 10" and 12" (obviously, my Wee Felt Folk book hasn't arrived yet <grin>? If I need the 6" and 12", then just get me 3 packs of each.
Thanks!

Tracey -- I'll take these

Churchwarden 12in. white-36pk, 5 packs (36/pk) $6.00 = 180

and if you want to trade shipping on a couple of swaps for this that would be awesome!! I still have to send you some Chinese New Year items (as soon as they get here) and then I will have to send you your egg stuffer swap and your wizardswap stuff next month. If I don't send any of those priority and just ship first class, I am guessing it would probably work out fairly evenly (unless someone is sending some gigantic items or very heavy items!). What do you think?

mom2kbeth
02-01-2006, 08:21 PM
Lori -- I use 12" pipe cleaners for all my bendies. (approx. 4" bendies, or I use 2 for the 6" bendies). It seems silly to me to also buy the 6" because you can just cut the 12" ones in half and get 2 6" ones. If you get the 12" pipe cleaners then you would have both options :)

Maegansmama
02-01-2006, 08:59 PM
ok
I will take 5 36 to a pack of the 12" for $6.00 for 180
and
3 of of the 60 to a pack of the 6" (if 5 packs are $4.75, each pack is 4.95) = $2.95 for 180

plus shipping
then plus shipping to me

if you need to fill any packs, i can do my part, lol

Ok, I think I got everyone's order that wants in. Selena, yes my head is spinning. The shipping is another reason (because you had mentioned it before)
I am waiting to send out totals. Don't want to mess up and have to ask for more money or end up paying it myself LOL.

I will not be home for most of the day tomorrow so if you would like for me to send you a detailed PP invoice, please pm me your email address. I will get totals out as soon as I can. It is very late and I just couldn't get to it tonight. Sorry :o

Pipe cleaners came today. I am packaging up and sending out tomorrow.

If anyone wants anything other than 1st class mail rate, please let me know. I can fit them into the 3.85 priority envelope but I think 1st class should be cheaper.

There are no more $3.85 flat rates :( The new 1 pound (and under) flat rate priority is $4.05. Wouldn't want you to end up short!!

First class is fine for me. I had just bought 100 pipe cleaners before you posted this, so I have a bunch to work with still ;)
