Anyone use this? I am wondering if you like it. We are using Miquon and I am finding it hard to explain the concepts. I have looked at math u see and like the idea of having someone teach on dvd and then I can just work with G and E on the problems, rather than me having to "teach" the concepts.

We've used both and I prefer mus.

The author of mus is a math freak. LOL. Truly. The guy just has a LOVE for math and it's evident in his tapes. He takes the chore and anxiety out of math and fills it with fun and enthusiasm.

I found miquon "gappy" and uncomfortable too.

I really like math u see. This is our first year using it and I have been very, very pleased. My dd actually enjoys math now (for the most part, lol).

Does watching the video prior to the lesson consume a lot of time on your part?

The video is really only about 5 minutes long. I have dd watch it a couple of times to make sure it sinks in. Her younger siblings love watching it with her so I like that they are being exposed to the concepts as well (not that they grasp them, but at least they have the exposure).

I normally don't watch the video with her so it frees me up to do other things around the house.
