wah...

this is my latest product... I wanted to wow you all with a new post about it ;) with houses on it and everything, lol, but I kinda screwed up...

it's a BIG playmat, 12x16, and has paths that lead to open areas that are PERFECT for putting your motherhues fairy houses on :) but when I did this mat I wasn't thinking.. and if you put a house at the bottom, in order for the path to face the doorstep of the house... then the doorwould face away from teh little one playing with it...

but its really neat, and the next one will be even cooler, lol...

$15 as is, one layer not backed with solid felt like my others with no accessories, $20 if you want me to put a back on it :)

thanks Bonnie, it will look so much better when I remake it.. I made the garden bigger and switched the garden to the top and the ring at the bottom. I am going to make a couple full size fairy houses so I can take good pictures for my site. And I REALLY wanted to use the dark foresty green but when I went to make it this morning I was OUT... so hopefully the 50% off sale is still on... so I can use the color I really want with the mat that will hopefully be really cool and the way I want it ;)

It is beautiful and if I didn't already have one with mushrooms on it (yours, of course) then I would snap it up!

The 50% sale is still on, at last it was today. I went this morning and picked through the colors, but all the colors were only 20-35% wool :( My Joann's never has had any 100%. But I happened to look at the end of the row, past where the wool felts were kept and saw a full roll sitting there untouched of 100% wool, natural! I was so excited! I bought 4 yards! I made my princess hats for the fantasy dress up (girl's) swap with it tonight (dyed pink and purple) and still havea LOT leftover to make dragons, zoo animals and everything else I need to make for my swaps :)

that is really cute and I don't even see it as a "second" . I know what you mean though. Now if 2 kids were playing with it (one on either side) then each one would have a door facing them right? So it would be perfect for twins or for any 2 kids, like mine, that fight over everything.

I'm so critical of my own work that I can't see in mine what I see in others... With me, even the slightest oops is grounds to trash the whole thing. You wouldn't believe how many tables I've made that were slightly unlevel (have to get down on my knees, eye level to my craft table to see this but I do it to all of them). If they are not level enough they get tossed over the backyard fence. I did send one to Amanda once when I was packing up one of her orders but I was apprehensive about it even though I told her in pm that it was a second. That's so screwy. It's like I don't want people to know I mess up lol How anal can one person be ?

okay I'm off topic here :D I *LOVE* your mats Selena and I definitely want one if you are still interested in a trade for a bendy King. I'll let you know as soon as I'm rested up a bit :)
