I am here now too. Had to cook, eat, do a bit of crafting, bathtime for the little 3 then bedtime for them. I got to take a nap from 9:00pm til now cause it takes Benjamin (2.5) forever to get to sleep since his naps are relly late in the afternoon.
I was thinking of you all though!!
I've been making miniature pinatas. Lurking on here while I wait for a layer to dry though. :D

ok, I must know
do you all go to Michael's so much cuz you haven't accumalated a cellar full of every craft imaginable or is it that your cellar isn't organized so you can't find the stuff(like me!)
does anyone know the cheapest cost to buy wool felt...I can open a wholesale account with mericurius(sp?) but even still I'm not sure...I was on this site yesterday that sells large sheets of wool felt(in white a brown and 2 grays) by the oz and it was $2.25 an ounce each sheet was like 3' x 4' or much smaller....I forget and it was like 18oz a sheet! This was for thicker wool felt for coat lining, etc.
and wool roving, dyed
and the wool fleece for stuffing.....that's what it's called right, the not so fine and pretty fluffy wool stuff?
I was up until 1:30am with stomach pains, (I was just surfing, too much pain to type much) I had a diet creamsicle bar and I think I made myself lactose intolerant, lol, cuz I can't tolerate any milk anymore, I just don't drink it at all, and since Maegan had diet issues we switched her to soy/rice and almond combo I use almond milk in my granola which I only have 1-2 times a month anyhow...
off to make coffee...

IO was dealing with sick kids. Can I just whine and say this is the third cold we have had in the last 2 months! We just got semi-well and went to have Christmas in Maine. My sister had 4 out of 5 kids on medicine so it was a losing battle. And to top it off, I am not allowed to even approach Maya if Daddy is home or she throws a fit. Here's hoping I can take a nap today.

Sorry for all of you who are sick or dealing with sick kiddos :(
I made a run to Michael's and Joann's yesterday and came home thinking I need this, and that, lol.
Stacey - if you go to Joann's asap, they have an unadvertised special on their wool felt - it's all 50% off. I got 4 yards of 100% wool (natural, dyes up beautifully last night) for $7.50/yard (usually $14.99).

Why can'y our JoAnn's have 100% wool! I have giftcards just waiting for it but oh no, that would be too easy. I couldn't get it in Maine either.

I know, I know :wah: !! I have to call my mom and ask her to pick stuff up from Hobby Lobby!! But that means I can't browse. Some would say it might keep me from spending money but naaa, there is the internet but I have to *wait*!!!!! That stinks. Poor pitiful me!!! LOL

We need to make a day of it and go craft shopping:D A lady in Hobby Lobby was telling me about this really neat store on Whitesburg that has a good selection of needle felting supplies.
Of course I could not find it..kinda hard to look for a store when driving...LOL!
I still need some wool felt. I bought the wrong kind I think ..but it is still pretty and I like how my snow scenes turned out with it:)
Live and learn...

No, I think elfmama can attest to the fact that I'm teh most organized person I know  It's just that I'll be in the middle of creating something and say "you know, it would be REALLY cool if I did ..." but realize that I don't have what I need to do that, either I've run out, or I've thought about buying it and forgotten when I got to the store. I'm really bad about not making a list and then forgetting what I needed and just getting lost in the aisles.
