I could never remember your username spelling until one of the fall swaps Ithink, when I realized it was mc m(a)ry moon. Now it's easy.

Yeah, I'm no fan of patchouli myself. The place I used to work was a wholesale supplier of candles and all sorts of goodies to stores across the country. The amount of patchouli going through that place was crazy. I used to have to be right in that nasty patchouli aisle because I was the purchasing agent, and had to check stock levels. That being said there were definite perks, the company was a big importer of quartz crytals and amethyst from Brazil, they also carried Goddess fountains made by Veronica Stewart, and an incredible pewter and bronze fairy line, so that definitely made yup for the smell of patchouli. ;)

I like it in small doses..don't think I could work around it all day though...hehehe.

I would have to agree though that those are pretty nice perks:smirk:

Oh Bonnie...I meant to ask you. Do you want to take over hosting this swap? I do not mind doing it..but when I looked over my list I saw that the Wizard Swap you are hosting is due just 4 days after this one. It would make so much more sense to have the Apothecary and Wizard swap go out together. I don't know WHY I didn ot *see* that earlier..it was kinda like DOH!

So why don't we just add Peppermint in her place and then if she comes back around an dstill wants in then we would just have 12 instead of 11? Does that sound ok for everyone?

I made my jars last night for this swap, but I was wondering, what are everyone's expectations on this swap? I was thinking it was more like a tiny things swap, little accessories to go along with the wizard swaps. Is this what everyone else is thinking too? Or is everyone else thinking it's more of a regular swap? Just asking because what I have now is perfect for a tiny things type swap, but not enough for a regular swap, kwim? I madeteeny tiny fimo jars with lids and am sending 2 per person, along with some dried herbs for one and some dried marigold seed from our garden for the other. I won't put the items in the jars because the lids only sit on the top. The kids can all fil the jars when they get to you. But lmk what you are all thinking on this swap so I will know if I should make more :)

I'm thinking tiny things type. I am doing 'dragon scales' which are painted pinecone 'spikes'. I am painting them with a silvery green paint and then dusting them with glow-in-the-dark dust. HTH!

Lisa's hubby just left for a 6 month tour so she is a LOT busy now... I couldnt imagine taking care of 4 kids who are used to having Daddy around... :hug:
