Sorry, I used to hate when people did this to me in the bookstore, LOL. "That book, with the red cover, that was on that table a few weeks ago? It was about Malaysia or er, somewhere in that area of the world?"

In 1998 I found a book at the Olympia library...just after Katie was born. I think the book was published in the 1970s or 80s. It was by a pro photographer who took pictures of his kids...the book was full of gorgeous, often blurry, low-light no flash portraits. He wrote about using 50mm primes for photographing kids, about not using flash, about catching them in great candid shots. It was a beautiful book.

Wondering if anyone knows the title or what I'm talking about. Getting back into photography I'm really interested in finding it again. I was thinking Rosemary/macspeno, you might know this book?? Thanks in advance...I searched on amazon and other book sites but the keywords I'm using aren't bringing it up and I'm afraid it might be out of print.

That sounds like a great book! I haven't seen it that I can remember, though. Can you think of any other details about it?
