Well Korwynne wanted in too so I added her but started a 3rd group...thought that would be easist...but tell me if you want larger groups..and I can change it all around...LOL;)

Ok, I need some input on a Phoenix before I try one. How big should this be? I want to draft one out, but I can't really picture it small, and I don't want to dwarf the other beasties. I'd like to get a prototype done in the next couple days so if it doesn't work out, I can either try again or move on to my back up plan which would be tree spirits.

My elves for group #2 are 3 inches. I am still not sure what to make for the first group. Both of your ideas sound awesome!

I havent' even started my centaurs for group 2 yet, but since they are going to be half bendy, I am going to say that they are going to end up in the 4-5" range.

You do pay for shipping to the hostess and you pay return shipping too. Usually runs around 4.00 - 5.00 each way.

Are dust sprites like dust bunnies/ You can come get mine and save yourself some work.

dust sprites live in old houses, to get rid of them you have to laugh very loudly ;-) and yeah, they are like dust bunnies, but they are alive, hence 'dust SPRITES'
my dust bunnies are made of everything, lol, and multiple more since we got rid of our rug and only have flooring, lol

a totoro is from 'my neighbor totoro' a japanamation movie made under disney and they are these pretty cute weeble looking characters only hcildren can see, but if there's any interest I invite everyone to watch this movie, then we can make a totoro swap, and make the cat bus, the camphor tree, the tunnel, mei and her sister, and of course the dust sprites :D...go on now, watch the movie....go on, it'll be okay, more swaps are good for the soul, and this movie is darling, very 'continuum conceptish' in the fact the kids get to do what they want and aren't hoovered over, the dad takes a bath with the kids, (the mom's in the hospital), anyhoo, then watch kiki's delivery service and spirited away(underlining theme is very environmental), there's a bunch of them, all cool movies :D

My sis has japanese friends and they turned her on to them and she to me :D She got me the 3 tototos for maegan's birthday on eyear and we love them so much!!!!! Maegan calls acorns 'totoro's' and I think it's sooo darling, and she was kiki for holloween this past year. She has a broom and tells it 'up' all the time, lol

After accessing my pre-baby goals yesterday, I have determined that I need to drop out of this swap.

I MUST get some nursing shirts and nightgowns sewn beforehand and I feel like, since this one is so big in each group that I just won't have the time I need to focus on making one or the other as good as I intend. I don't want to scimp for lack of time, just to get it done.

I really hope that this doesn't mess anything up but I know that this is the right thing to do.

Most of the other swaps I am in, I have timed to finish before or a bit after baby.

Again, I really am sorry if this messes up anything. :o

McKenna was obsessed with yettis for a couple of months ... it started with a very sarcastic computer commercial she saw that had someone saying that he "loved it when his computer made the sound of a yetti" and it progressed from there, lol! I donīt want to make bendies or something super complex, as I am already making wrapped body trolls (way bigger than regular bendies, cause trolls are supposed to be big).

Got a question for everyone ... I finished my merhorses for group 3, and went with the amphisbaena for group 2. Kenna saw my pyramids for the Egyptian swap and NEEDED a mummy. So I made a bunch of mummies. I was thinking they could be for this swap, because (for us at least) they go along with fantasy play, even though they are no t exactly fantasy creatures. Or I can save them for one of the Halloween swaps and make up something else for group 1. What do you all think I should do? They came out cute! They are bendies wrapped in organicc otton jersey strips ;)

That would be fine with me..besides..have you seen what I am making...LOL..Jack Frost is turning out better than I had hoped too..I am so proud of him...LOL!!!

I ended up making the gnomes smaller, they are just over 3Ļ, the pattern would have made over 6Ļ giant gnome! I hope to post a craft&show soon :)

Ok heres pics of the Brownies some got girls some got boys I dont remember who I gave what to but tried to match up with what I thought they may enjoy ;) shown with their brooms that need to be mailed to em ... the boys come with a removable towel that slides onto the arm so any bendy could use it too ;) the towel and aprons have little "dirt" marks from previous cleanings theyve done. Girls have long pantaloons on under the skirts too. Pockets on both pants and skirt are useable. Hope you like em


AND Those that get snotlings will a pair of snotlings ( only one shown in pic cuz I stopped putting heads and hair on after I got to quota lol ... and this one isnt as nice as the others I sent ) Some have dark green tops and light hair, others have light tops and dark hair.

A rather late c&s, these went out on Wednesday or Thursday I believe. First gnomes for group 2, these are about 3.5 inches tall

And then the trolls for group 1. Now, these took on a life of their own so they are all different and none look like the prototype. These range in size but I think they are around 4-5 inches tall. I didn't measure before sending out and I am too lazy to look for the one I kept (it is past 4 am).
