My molds didn't come until this afternoon, so I will be a day late in shipping since I have to make the little bitty dragons now :)

All done with mine and sending tomorrow!!! Can't believe I got them done.

Yes, baby has no NB diaper covers and dh said, "My baby might be born with no diapers to wear and you are sitting and sewing stupid dragons?". I said, "STUPID dragons!!! You better watch what you say to this very hormonal woman!!!"

I did get 6 covers cut out today plus a nightgown so I am doing ok and took a hint from dh to get it done ;).

The children even ate today, angels were watching over me for sure!!!

Ok, I am feeling a bit better that I am not alone in this situation! I am trying to finish up today too, but no promises. My bunnies for the Easter/Ostara Egg Swap took up more time than I planned, so I am running late on this one. I have to finish up my knights and will ship ASAP. It will be Monday at the latest, but I am shooting for today. Off goes the computer RIGHT now!

I have neglected all my other handwork things to get this this swap done. I had hard time focusing on anything else while I knew that I had to finish my swap goodies. Now I can sit and work on Liisa´s longies in peace:happy:

Hi Mamas. Thanks for the kind thoughts coming our way. Elissa is ok, although still very sick. We took her to the hospital because she had an elevated heart rate, fever, and labored breathing. She was also super listless and when she moved her body, she had the shakes. I wasn't sure what it was, so I erred on the side of caution, and we took her in. Its some sort of bacterial intestinal flu, so basically just lots of rest and liquids.
On the plus side though, I took some of the dragons, and got a little sewing done while we waited for 4 hours. So, I am not as behind as I thought I would be. Don't think I'll make the PO today, but will go probably in the morning. :)

Since we had someone drop from our group - I sent an extra dragon in. Does anyone want to trade for it? I won't need another one because I did 2 prototypes for us to keep.

They came out very nice, kinda big though. I put a pic of the original prototype on page 2 or 3. (the actual ones look a bit nicer - that one in the pic was done in acrylic felt and I used wool felt for the dragon and I did a much better job on the stitching). They are either red & black or green & tan.

My children played for hours and then had to pretend they were real dragons so the play went on and on.

I just got my package.. my boys are roaring up a storm!
Everything is so cool!

I got my stuff today!!!!! :monkeydan Dh called and said the mail lady was dying that I wasn't home and she had my box I was so desperately waiting for!!! I will have to share my loot with her Monday, I guess. ;)

I just have to say that EVERYTHING is absolutely wonderful. I am so amazed at the talent of all our mamas here. :bow:

James was asleep when we got home to check out the goodies, so I am trying to decide if I should save this stuff for a gift giving time or go ahead and show it to him in the morning.........
