While I wait to go next door to the inlaws I thought I would post pics of what the fairies did. I hope you recognize the cute things we got in swaps. I wrapped some of the tiny things as fairy gifts and Maya has been playing with them all morning.
And my exciting news is that while I was putting Maya's kitchen stuff together last night I found the mushrooms from Selena that I thought the dog had eaten.

Maya was so excited. She opened (had me open) the little fairy presents and has been carrying them around in her apron as she "cooks". I think I need to make a few more of the little flower houses for her.
Selena, I think we are set with the shrooms for now. We just got her Alice in Wonderland for Christmas though so we may need to custom order in a special colour selection.

I had to order the boats and oars for the pirate swap l;ast night, so while i was doing that I found a sled on the same website and ordered it. It was only a couple of bucks and saved me a trip out on the second most crazy shopping day of the year :lol:

Where did you order boats? I ordered little boats for the placecards at my wedding but can't remember where I got them.

I tried to post earlier, but hte computer froze on me and I didn't feel like waiting for it to reboot to post again. So there it is. The website has some really adorable little wooden things!

And Kris, go ahead and do the ships. I was thinking the boats would be more of a companion to the ships ... like a life boat, or the boat the pirates take when they dock the pirate ship to take the row boat to shore. Or you could do pirates. That was what I was originally intending but I can't get the *@^#)! peg leg on and I don't want to make them without the peg leg because I am anal and obsessive, rofl!

No, see, I found the perfect little wooden peg legs. They are the perfect size and look great when next to the pirate, lol. I just can't get them to stay attached to the pipe cleaner. If I could somehow put a teeny tiny hole through each one, then I would be able to thread the flos sthrough to get it to stay attached, but I don't haveanything to do that with, plus they are tiny and thin and would probably split. And now that i have the wooden peg leg pirate in my head, I just can't make it with floss instead, because it will never look right to anal and obsessive me.

Now, why do I wonder why Holden spends hours lining cars and trains up in perfect little lines, and stacking his cars on top of each other until they are just so? LOL! He is his mama's little boy, that's for sure! :lol:

It's funny because I know just how I am going to make the peglegs. For some reason i was thnking about this tonight in all of my free time.

I ordered the tiny version of that boat for my wedding and still have some left. Ideas ideas!

I found them with the wood things at Michael's Craft Store. I can't remember what they are actually supposed to be. I will have to look later to see if the package is stil with the peg legs and post back :)
