Just want to stay on track. I have January all planned out (as much as I do plan...lol) It is always subject to change and I will not give myself a hard time if it does.

I know I posted this earlier but now it is certain. Here is our "plan" for the new year:

FIAR 5xweek
Story of the WOrld Volume One ith Activity book 5xWeek
Science for Young Learners 1xWeek by (evan-moor) to be incorporated with the FIAR science day
Rythm and Dance 2xWeek
Basketball 2xWeek
Lowes Children's Workshop 1xMonth
Piano 1xweek (hopefully)
P.E. 2x week (with two other local HSing Families)
Book Club 1x month (with above families)

and of course.........

LIFE!!!!!!! lol!!!!!

How is everyone else doing?

Me, me , me!!!

After trying so many things as far as schedule/no schedule/let him be, etc... we figured Vidura does great and wants and loves structure (bad for me cause i'm totally unorganized and irregular in daily life...)

So we need to do 6 days a week otherwise he freaks.

Abeka 1st reading and phonics 6X
Abeka Language and Poetry 1 6X
Abeka phonics K5 (for review and doing the writing part this time around)
Singapore Math 1a 4X
Singapore science 3X (but at the rate he's going now we'll be done by mid january, lol)
HWT as often as he wants (he's not much of a hands on/writing kid)
Story of the world 4X
French daily
French History and Geography 2X
Park (running, lol) 5X
Tumbling, pre-karate and French box whenever he feels like it
Sanskrit and Bhagavad Gita Study daily

Each (except for park and pe) about 15 minutes, using the French school schedule 8.30am til 11.30 am and 1.30pm til 5pm, and Saturday only 8.30am til 12.

I just figured this out recently and it works great for us.
Doesn't include "homwork" time, but I don't think I'll bother him with that until he's 5 or 6. And anyway he reads all the time.

I forgot read aloud and silent reading which will occur daily as we are reading The Magic Treehouse Series and Narnia. I want to do Spanish too but I think that the plate is full enough already.
