I finished this for Alison last weekend and she loves it and wears it almost every day. I have gotten many compliments on it and people cannot believe *I* knitted it, so that sure makes me feel good.
We are leaving for CA today and I am bringing my projects with me. I have 2 easy scarves planned for the plane. If I finish those, I have two hats I can do on the way back. I also started Alison a sweater which is Project #2 from Bliss's How To Knit. The back and front are simple stockinette boxes with garter border, sleeves, I will learn to increase/decrease, neck opening has no shaping, more like a boat neck, so it looks easy, aside from casting on 97 stitches with size 3 needles and cotton yarn. Very tedious work compared to those loosely knitted scarves. Anyway, I am all set for the the next two weeks.
Oh, and the scarf...yarn is Yarn Bee, same as the last scarf, just different pattern, it took one full 110 yd ball.
