I am going to make tiny goody bags. The ones that are given out at the end of the party. Usually filled with candy I don't want my kiddos to have. But some moms are really good at finding cool treasures to put inside. I will try to find some itty bitty treasures to go in the handmade bags.

I sent out my items this morning with your New Year's Swap, PolkaDot :) I sent 14 cakes with cake slices, and 14 birthday candles.

I am just beginning to work on my goody bags this week so hopefully will have them out by week end. :). Gotta keep em moving.

YAY..I was hoping someone would be doing hats:D I will try and think of some other ideas..My hand made prsents looked pretty bleh..so I found some tiny size ones that will work much better:)

Not much is mentioned in previous posts other than the ones Kris just said and Rebecca's and Bonnie's.

I am thinking of switching to bowls of ice cream. I have the bowls and the clay to do it with. Just worried I won't be able to make it realistic enough. Maybe a couple round balls one vanilla one choc. and colored sprinkles.

I can't do anything with a printer cause I don't have one. Benjamin (2) ripped the guts out of my old one a couple months ago and I have yet to replace it. I want a really nice one so that is the delay. DS (13) and I have a savings can for this!! May take til June to get there though but it is fun saving for something.

I have a new printer, and wish I had my old one back :( It's a great printer - it's one of those printer/scanners/copiers all in one. But I am out of ink as of yesterday and it costs me over $75 to fill the @&#)@& thing!!! And I really need to have a functioning printer to print out postage :(

I can do the pin the tail on the donkey's, I was thinking heavy cardstock, then a wool felt tail, not sure if these should be workable, lol, and if I should use a pin, i am thinking 'not' of course, but it would be cute if it was attachable....i don't have enough felt right now to make felt donkeys and velcro the tail on...unless I buy poly felt.

Ah Thanks you! I think what i am going to do is tiny bags of confetti if its okay, i can put that together pretty quick and easy and the kids will love punching out all teh little papers...I'll send in a tiny sheer bag:rainbow:

My bowls of ice cream are DONE!! What a frustrating nightmare!! First, I let the children help me make tiny balls, I think the 4 yo can follow instructions better than my "do everything my way" 7yo. All different sizes and some of the chocolate may have "melted" into some vanilla. Also, I let said 7yo paint the bowls, on her own. I gave her instructions and came back to find that she was dipping them in paint. A huge mess. Also, when I was putting some finishing touches on the bowls, my lap cat decides to jump on the table, into some paint and onto some bowls. I don't think he did any damage.

They turned out ok after all but not what my anal self was hoping for. So when you get yours, please remember that my slave labor was only worth the couple of dollars I didn't pay them ;)

GOT MY PACKAGE!!!! Everything is just wonderful. My children hung the banner, chose which invites they wanted to "hold", chose which cards they wanted, set the table (chose whether they wanted the whole cake or just the slice), played pin the tail, wore the crowns (and it was the Chinese New Year bendies that were the guests of honor!) even my 2yo opened a package!!! (Wil and katie were furious with him but I re-wrapped).

Oh, I am sooo sorry she is not well. It is sooohard for the little ones. Benjamin and I had a bit of a bug and he only threw up twice (but in the middle of the night). The others have escaped the germs. Don't know how!!! Hope she is much better soon.

Are you getting the bug too? I always get a headache with a stomach bug! Happened last weekend when Benjamin was sick (for one night), the next day, I had an aweful headache and nausea, on top of the pregnancy nausea which I still have at 33 weeks!! All better now though and I really hope you don't get it from Maegan.
